What is Accelerated Death Benefit?

An Employee, Retiree or covered spouse with a life expectancy of less than 24 months due to a Terminal Condition may be eligible for advanced payment of 50% of their Basic and Voluntary Term Life insurance amount in-force on the date that proof of loss is determined.
